Summary:Tetraethyldiethylenetriamine tribromide magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs-TEDETA tribromide) are synthesised and characterized as an efficient, new, metal free and magnetically reusable nanocatalyst for the synthesis of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1 H )-one and polyhydroquinoline derivatives. The synthesized catalyst was characterized using FT-IR, TGA, XRD, EDX, VSM and SEM analyses. Tetraethyldiethylenetriamine tribromide magnetic nanoparticles are synthesised as an efficient, new, metal free and magnetically reusable nanocatalyst for the synthesis of 2,3-dihydroquinazolin-4(1 H )-one and polyhydroquinoline derivatives.
