Summary:Thermoelectric generators enable the use of waste heat of combustion engines by direct transformation into electric energy. High demands are made on long-term stability of the used materials and constructions and the alternating heat flux has to be made consistent by suitable measures, e.g., by the use of phase change materials (PCMs). A system for incorporating this PCM, which consists of open pore metal foams of different pore sizes made by diffusion welding of austenitic stainless steel as a supporting structure, is presented. The assemblage of the foam with the housing is realized by diffusion bonding.Original Abstract: Thermoelektrische Generatoren ermoglichen die Nutzung von Abgaswaerme von Verbrennungsmotoren durch direkte Wandlung in elektrische Energie. An die Langzeitbestaendigkeit der verwendeten Werkstoffe und Konstruktionen werden hohe Anforderungen gestellt und das wechselnde Waermeangebot muss ueber geeignete Masnahmen vereinheitlicht werden, bpsw. durch latente Waermespeichermaterialien. Ein System zur Aufnahme dieses Speichermaterials, fuer das offenporige Metallschaeume unterschiedlicher Porenweite aus austenitischem Edelstahl als Stuetzstrukturen mittels Diffusionsschweisen mit Gehaeusestrukturen gefuegt wurden, wird vorgestellt.
