Prediction and Measurement of the Parameters of the Microtopography of a Surface When Turning Intricately Shaped Parts

A technique of predicting the parameters of the microtopography of a surface is presented. The results are confirmed by measurements of the roughness of the surface of an intricately shaped part produced by means of turning.
