Risk of stroke in imaging-proven subclavian steal syndrome

Highlights • The prevalence of stroke in patients with imaging-proven SSS was high. • Younger and symptomatic patients with SSS were more likely to be treated invasively. • Only presence of symptoms on presentation was a significant risk factor for stroke in patients with imaging-proven SSS.
