Meibomian gland dysfunction and its determinants in Iranian adults: A population-based study

Highlights • MGD prevalence in Iranian population is lower than other Asian populations. • MGD is associated with another ocular surface disorder, namely Pinguecula. • HDL levels, as well as certain systemic diseases include hypertension and diabetes mellitus are in correlation with MGD.
