Immediate postpartum neurological deficits in the lower extremity: a prospective observational study

Highlights • Early postpartum neurological deficits were found in 2% • Most were sensory deficits involving the lumbosacral plexus. • None were clinically important and most resolved within days. • Regional block and delivery mode were not associated risk factors.
