Summary: | Highlights • Comparison of multiple domains of biological rhythm (Social, Sleep, activity & eating) among remitted bipolar I subjects and healthy controls in Indian population is presented here. • Bipolar I subjects (without any other psychiatric co-morbidities) experience persisting biological rhythm disturbance even during the remitted phase of the illness when compared to healthy controls. • Subsyndromal depressive symptoms correlated significantly with severity of biological rhythm disturbance even during the remitted phase of illness. • Number of episodes which required hospitalization, subsyndromal depressive symptoms and Poor sleep quality significantly predicted biological rhythm disturbance in remitted bipolar subjects |
