Association of matrix γ-carboxyglutamic acid protein levels with insulin resistance and Lp(a) in diabetes: A cross-sectional study

Highlights • Diabetes coexisting with chronic kidney disease is associated with elevated MGP levels. • A positive association between MGP and both Lp(a) and HOMA IR levels was found. • Potential association of Lp(a) and MGP with atherosclerosis & vascular calcification.
