Summary:Herein, we report a new miniaturized capsule catalyst, Co/SiO 2 -M-Z 6ET , which is different from routine capsule catalysts, has a smaller core size and has stronger Brønsted acidity. The premium secondary reaction field and the significant capsule size effect on Co/SiO 2 -M-Z 6ET were demonstrated using a model compound of n -hexadecane ( n -C 16 ). Furthermore, a striking gasoline selectivity of 72% was facilely obtained from FT synthesis.
