Field effects to slow magnetic relaxation in a mononuclear Ni(ii) complex
A mononuclear Ni(ii) complex [Ni(NCS) (nqu) (H O) ]·2nqu (nqu - 5-nitroquinoline) shows a field induced slow magnetic relaxation with three relaxation domains. The relaxation time for the low-frequency mode is as slow as τ = 0.3 s at T = 1.9 K and B = 0.4 T.
