Summary:Reviews the exhibition "Le Baroque des Lumières : chefs-d'oeuvre des églises parisiennes au XVIIIe siècle" ("Baroque during the Enlightenment : 18th-century masterpieces in the churches of Paris"), which was on display at the Petit Palais in Paris through 16 July 2017. The show opened with a much enlarged reproduction of the 1775 edition of Bernard Antoine Jaillot's map of Paris, on which are marked the numerous churches and other religious institutions in which the works on show once hung or still hang.
