Highlights • Most parents recognize autistic features by the age of 3 years but only 2/3rds seek professional help by this age • Majority (90.5%) children received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder at our centre • High rate of co-morbidity (76%) is noted in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder • There is a need to increase awareness in parents and professionals regarding early detection and intervention of Autism Spectrum Disorder
