Summary:In optimized clinical settings, flexible bronchoscopy can be considered a feasible procedure for the removal of airway FBs using a laryngeal mask airway (LMA) as a conduit in children (2, 3). The 5-cm nail (Figure 3) was too large to be pulled through the LMA; therefore, the entire unit (LMA and FB) was removed together while carefully maintaining a firm grip on the FB.
