Results: A remarkable finding was that 75% of the subjects showed a visual field defect, mainly homolateral to the hemiplegic side and contralateral to the (most extensive) cerebral lesions. Conclusion: Visual functions of children suffering from congenital hemiplegia should be routinely assessed, with particular attention to the visual field. |
