Description
Summary:Projecting wind-power plants depends on the amount of the power that the plant can support. The location chosen for the project needs to be evaluated in consideration of different criteria when determining the potentiality of the wind-power. Measuring the wind-speed and the wind-path through equipment in prospective wind observation station play an important role in such later stages as evaluation of data, determination of the amount of energy and choosing the wind tribune. In this study, the aim was to determine the most convenient location for a wind observation station to be built on the campus of a university using analytic hierarchy process (AHP).
