Summary: | Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB) is the most common bariatric procedure for morbid obesity [1]. In these patients, access to the major papilla is a real challenge. Many alternative approaches, including enteroscopyassisted [2, 3] or surgery-assisted [4, 5] ERCP to manage pancreaticobiliary disorders in patients with RYGB, have been reported. Actually, these techniques are associated with a low success rate or high risk of complications. Recently, EUS-directed gastro-gastrostomy ERCP (EDGE) was developed as an effective miniinvasive treatment for patients with RYGB [6–8]. The purpose of this video is to describe an EDGE with an electrocautery-tipped lumen-apposing metal stent (LAMS) and same session ERCP. |
