Description
Summary:VAIN is much rarer than the equivalent dysplastic changes found in the cervix but may accompany cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. VAIN is also HPV in-duced and may be an extension of a cervical lesion or a satellite lesion. VAIN lesions are usually asymptomatic and detected by cytologic screening. Lesions can be ex-cised, vaporized or treated locally with medical therapies. The incidence of vaginal cancer is very rare.
