On Your Knees

  Some common causes of knee pain are patellar tendinitis, chondromalacia, and iliotibial band syndrome. Chondromalacia, or "runner's knee" feels like a burning, achy sensation on top of the kneecap and can be prevented by strengthening the quadriceps.
