Summary: | Mizoroki–Heck‐type alkenylation of monoaryldialkylsulfoniums has been accomplished by means of palladium catalysts. Various combinations of monoarylsulfoniums and alkenes were adapted to the present reaction. Because monoaryldimethylsulfoniums were readily prepared from the corresponding aryl methyl sulfides and methyl triflate, one‐pot alkenylation of aryl methyl sulfide could also be executed.
