Summary:The French national regulations, included in public health code, will be shortly updated to complete the transposition of the directive 2003/122/Euratom related to the control oh high activity sources and orphan sources and to take account of the new missions of the French Nuclear Safety Authority (ASN). This new context leads to simplify the existing authorisation and reporting system and to strengthen the task of approved body by ASN in charge of the control of facilities.
