Summary:Reports has recently published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that should inspire vigorous action to improve the diets of individuals in the United States, these report focus on the prevalence of obesity that is high among youth and increases the risks of hypertension, stroke, myocardial, infarction, certain cancers especially to the type 2 diabetes, another reports were the sodium consumption. High sodium intake increases the risk of hypertension and myocardial infarction and stroke. The US Burden of Disease Collaborators reported that dietary factors were associated with 529,299 deaths in 2016 in the United States, making them the leading risk factor for mortality.
