Summary:Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine if hormonal and metabolic responses could explain exercise limitation in Down syndrome (DS). Research design and methods: Fourteen men with Down syndrome and 15-age-matched controls participated in the study. Firstly, a maximal treadmill test was conducted.
