Description
Summary:New records of nematoda larvae of the superfamily Acuanoidea at the Black Sea fish, which are paratenic hosts for these nematodes, are presented. Paracuaria adunca and Cosmocephalus obvelatus are recorded from Lipophrys pavo and Parablennius sanguinolentus (Bleniidae) and Neogobius ratan (Gobiidae), whereas C. obvelatus was found on Liza saliens (Mugilidae), Pomatoschistus minutus elongates (Gobiidae) and Atherina boyeri pontica (Atherinidae) for the first time. Measurements and figures of collected larvae are presented. Peculiarities of life cycle of these nematodes, linked to hosts (marine fish) inhabiting coastal biocoenosis of the Black Sea shelf, are discussed.
