Summary: | In January 1998 the popular journal HISPANIC published a list of the 100 companies providing the most opportunities for Hispanics. But the criteria for assessing the corporations need to be expanded, the process used to collect the information revised, and the uses to which this information is put needs to be rethought. The process by which organizational information is collected is as important as the criteria used to collect the information. A fair data collection process will help to ensure that corporations are providing accurate information. |
