Genetic features of Kazakh sheep breeds according to microsatellites

Four Kazak sheep breeds are assessed according to 20 microsatellite loci. All breeds show a high level of genetic variability. A low level of interbreed difference (θ = 2.5%) is established. The synthetic origin of Kazakh breeds is established by genetic methods.
