Summary:Concentrations of primary biological aerosol particles (PBAP) were determined at the high Alpine research center at Jungfraujoch (JFJ) /Switzerland. Between August 4, 1999 to August 24, 1999, 12 measurements were performed. The size distributions showed differences according to different air masses. Higher biological concentrations were found in sub tropical airmasses than in sub polar regions. Some anthropogenic influence could be seen in higher concentrations of biological particles.
