Fabrication of Life-size Photoelastic Cancellous Bone Models

A technique to reproduce the architecture of cancellous bone is described, in anticipation of photoelastic analysis with fringe multiplication. The use of this technique to accurately reproduce trabecular struts and plates according to the original bone architectural structure is discussed.
