[...]in a study conducted by Rao et al (Current Science, 10 March 2015) in Vasad, Gujarat it was found that climate change impact on design and costing of soil and water conservation structures in watersheds is up to 28% as compared to existing costs. Palanisami et al provide interesting insights into water management research in India particularly in the context of agriculture, and this needs to be picked up for planning and implementation of adaptation actions in India.
