Marching, but not to their drummer
Within a five-day period, Rodgers-Melnick marched twice in Washington, D.C. One march opposed a U.S. attack on Iraq; the other opposed legal abortion. He realized that the leaders of both marches were so blatantly anti-American that it was almost a turn-off even though he shared their views.
