Summary:Drug-induced immunosuppression can predispose kidney transplant patients to different complications including chronic infections and oral lesions. We surveyed oral hygiene habits and conducted detailed periodontal examinations for status assessment. Appropriate oral hygiene and regular professional control can reduce number and severity of complications, which might be preventive for transplant rejection.
