Summary:In addition to notable government officials from Cambodia and abroad, the event attracted the participation of various influential academic scholars from around the world, including Kit Tai Hau (a former pro-vice-chancellor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong), Steven Miller (vice provost for research at Singapore Management University), Lisa Given (a past president of ASISI&T), and Javed Mostafa (a professor at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Information and Library Science). In response to what is known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution-the merging of the physical, digital, and biological worlds (www.weforum.org/focus/ fourth-industrial-revolution)-Naron highlighted the importance of equipping students with soft skills and addressed the question of how education can deal with upcoming technological unemployment. Parallel sessions with 33 talks were also presented, with various topics related to the conference theme. Besides academic exchange, this event also had cultural and musical performances.
