Summary: | It has been shown under general assumptions that all solutions of the balance equations describing multimode generation decay to the stationary one. Based on an analysis of experimental facts it has been concluded that in the absence of technical perturbations, undamped spiking is conditioned by additional mode interactions (as compared to the balance one). It has been shown that a series of physical factors, such as Kerr nonlinearity of the active medium matrix, two-photon absorption, etc., can result in such interactions. |
