Optimization of phase diagrams by a least squares method using simultaneously different types of data
A least squares method for optimizing simultaneously thermodynamic functions and phase diagrams from experimental data of both is described. The success of the method depends mainly on the appropriate construction and weighting of the equations of error associated with each measurement.
