Raman microprobe spectra of individual microcrystals and fibers of talc, tremolite, and related silicate minerals

Distinct vibrational spectra were obtained from individual microcrystals and fibers of sheet and chain silicate minerals. No systematic differences exist between spectra of the fibrous and nonfibrous forms of a given mineral.
