The small-angle scattering behaviour of neutrons in magnetic domain structures resulting from dynamical theory of diffraction

The small-angle scattering behaviour of neutrons in the refracting range is described and a method is given to determine the wall thickness. The law of refraction in the case of magnetic birefringence of neutrons for the case of the optical axes in different domains inclined against each other is de...

Description
Summary:The small-angle scattering behaviour of neutrons in the refracting range is described and a method is given to determine the wall thickness. The law of refraction in the case of magnetic birefringence of neutrons for the case of the optical axes in different domains inclined against each other is derived. The behaviour of the neutron spin in a helical magnetic structure is also shown.
