Summary: | This paper describes a graphical display designed to aid the evaluation of multivariate sensitivity data produced by a systems model. The display is a modification of the
GH′ Biplot technique. The variance and correlation structure of the model parameters and output variates is represented on the display, and a modification of the standard
GH′ Biplot is described which allows a simultaneous display of the results produced by each run of the model. Any run of the model that produces output particularly displaced from baseline output is easily detected on the display, and the nature of such a potentially sensitive reponse, in terms of the output variates and model parameters that contribute most strongly to it, can easily be diagnosed. The method is illustrated using multivariate sensitivity data from a pest control simulation model. |
