Summary:The right-wing government at the centre has embraced, and is pushing, the idea of one language, one religion, and one enemy. Because if the personal is political, why isnt it time for the political to be personal? If youre living with a disability that makes attending protests challenging, if youre living with a mental health condition that is exacerbated by the political climate, if youre worried for your safety because of your identity, if you have family whose opinions are different from yours, but you need to continue to live with them peaceably, if you live in another country and cant attend protestsyour dissent, however you choose to express it, is valid, and the way you engage with resistance is legitimate.
