Description
Summary:Standing wave acoustic parameters describing the acoustic field within flow ducts can be conveniently derived by considering a sufficiently long section of duct as an impedance tube. This paper describes a measurement approach in which information is acquired by analysis of wall pressure records obtained simultaneously from a pair or an array of fixed points. This procedure minimizes most of the disadvantages associated with conventional methods, but requires facilities for fast digital data acquisition and processing.
