Rate of crystal growth by 2D nucleation in the case of electrocrystallization of silver
The growth kinetics of a screw dislocation free (100) face of a silver single crystal has been experimentally investigated. The two growth mechanisms predicted by the theory have been demonstrated and the theoretical equations have been verified.
