The state-selective reactions of vibrationally excited CH ( X 2Π) with oxygen and nitrogen
The reaction rate constants for the reaction of CH (X 2Π, v″=0,1) with O2 and N2 have been measured. CH was produced by IR multiple photon dissociation of methanol and probed by laser induced fluorescence of the A(0,0) (431 nm) and A(0,1) (488 nm) transitions. The second order rate constants are k02...

The rate constants for CH (v″=1) are the observed combined rate constants for reaction and vibrational relaxation. |
