Description
Summary:Background We evaluated the preoperative natural growth pattern of craniofacial fibrous dysplasia and postoperative volume changes in patients undergoing shaving procedures. Methods Thirty‐three patients who underwent serial computed tomography (CT) preoperatively and/or postoperatively were identified. The natural tumor growth rate was assessed using preoperative CT scans. The postoperative tumor regrowth rates and relevant variables were analyzed. Results The preoperative tumor growth rates were significantly lower in patients aged ≥ 16 years than in those aged
