[...]we all do this to some degree. A common response from secular and religious folks alike is, "so what?" Why should we care if people reason poorly or accept invalid conclusions? Since this is a personal story, I will answer that question on the personal level and show why each of us should rid ourselves of faith. [...]my fear that I was being haunted shows that while sometimes faith comforts, other times it terrifies, whether through haunting by a trusted friend or the promise of hellfire for committing tiny mistakes.
