Summary: | After obtaining mean velocities, turbulence intensities, and shear stresses calculated with a k-epsilon model and then measured with LDV, for a solid rocket ramjet's cold flow, attention is given to the measurement of the injectant concentration field using molecular Rayleigh scattering. The investigation is extended to simultaneous measurements of the velocity and concentration in the cold flow and the velocity, concentration and temperature determinations made by Raman scattering in the flow with combustion.
