Summary:Magnetic, electrical resistivity and specific heat measurements on a series of UXT compounds (X equivalent to Al, Ga, Sn; T equivalent to Ni, cobalt, Ru) are presented. The occurrence of magnetism in these compounds is attributed mainly to uranium 5f electrons. The experimental results are discussed in terms of U 5f bandwidth variations in this series together with hybridization of 5f with other valence electron states. 9 ref.--AA
