Multivariate analysis showed that The Global Record for Acute Coronary Events score, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention with TAXus and cardiac surgery (SYNTAX) score, glucose and CAR (odds ratio:1.326, 95% CI: 1.212-1452, P < .001) were independent predictors of MACE. The CAR may be proven useful for risk stratification in STEMI patients undergoing pPCI.
