Description
Summary:The purpose of the current study was a qualitative UHPLC-PDA-ESI-MS analysis of phenolic compounds in the aerial parts of , which led to detection of over sixty constituents: tannins, flavonoids, phenolic acids and their derivatives. The presence of oenothein B-type macrocyclic dimeric ellagitannins seems to be of particular importance. Quercetin sulfate, that has been previously identified as characteristic chemotaxonomic marker in , was found in , as well.
