Temperature-programmed desorption study of the removal of oxygen from the YBa sub 2 Cu sub 3 O sub 7 superconductor

At 400- 500 degrees C, 0.25 mol O sub 2 desorbs in He per mol of YBa sub 2 Cu sub 3 O sub 7 . There is also incorporation of H sub 2 O, CO sub 2 , and CO from air at 50- 600 degrees .
