Superconductivity and hydrogen profiles in electrolytically charged PdCu alloys
Pd x Cu 1 − x surface alloys were prepared on palladium foils by ion implantation and ion beam mixing. The foil samples were charged with hydrogen by electrolysis at dry-ice temperature. Superconducting transition temperatures and hydrogen depth profiles were measured for the resulting Pd x Cu 1 − x...

with hydrogen concentration depth profiles was obtained. It is suggested that alloy structure, in addition to hydrogen concentration, may play a role in the production of high transition temperatures in these alloys. |
