Description
Summary:In order to study gravitational collapse of a star leading to the formation of a super nova or a black hole and consequent emission of gravitational radiation, we have developed a numerical method to solve 3D partial differential equations in a sphere with various boundary conditions. We present the numerical method which is based on spectral analysis and application to the solutions of 3D wave equations and to the solutions of gas dynamics equations for pertinent cases.
