Y-Ba-Cu-O superconducting thin films prepared by flash evaporation
Superconducting thin films of Y-Ba-Cu-O oxides were prepared by a simple technique of flash evaporation. The critical temperature T c ( R =0) was 80 K in a ∼1 µm-thick film on a MgO substrate. The film showed a preferred c-axis orientation after annealing at 900°C and 600°C in oxygen.
